Kale & Nicole Wedding - Oklahoma Wedding Photographer

I met Kale & Nicole downtown at Myriad Gardens, to start off with pictures of just the bride and groom, no distractions - just the two of them together.

It was a perfect morning, a little warm for poor Kale in his uniform, right before we started all the cloud cover cleared but we made the most of it and were able to capture some great shots.  We explored Myriad Gardens and captured a lot of laughing, love & two real people who I am honored to get to know.

The wedding and reception was a backyard wedding filled with family, friends & so many perfect locations for wedding photos.

Tra & Trina Wedding - Oklahoma Wedding Photographer

Tra & Trina were so great to work with.  They had their wedding at the beautiful I Cross My Heart Wedding Chapel in Choctaw, OK.  They ended their wedding with their reception at the classy, Creekside Wedding Chapel in Edmond, OK.  This wedding was filled with so much love, laughing and quiet possibly the best dancing I have ever seen.

I am thankful to get to be apart of Tra & Trina's life. They were so uplifting & a pleasure to be around.

Shake Your Tail Feather - Oklahoma Photographer

I recently blogged about Justin & Ashlee's Wedding at Quartz Mountain Resort.  The dance floor at this gorgeous Oklahoma Wedding needed its own blog post.

Beyonce wasn't there,

Dancing with the Stars casting should have been there,

ohh but little Tatum was there!

Tatum was on the dance floor & I think danced with every family member and guest at the reception.
Tatum is one cool kiddo.  I love her little personality.  She is outspoken, carefree & hilarious.

Watch as she shakes her tail feather.

Rocco & Nancy Wedding - Oklahoma Wedding Photographer

It was a cloudy day,

perfect weather outside for a wedding,

barns, boats, water & a lot of time to take pictures.

The I have known Rocco & Nancy for several years now. I photographed Roccos sister's wedding back in early 2009.  I have been photographing their family ever since and they now refer to me as 'their photographer' and believe me I am thankful for a family full of great people.  The original date that Rocco & Nancy had chosen for their wedding was a date I was already booked & there probably isn't a better feeling that someone changing their wedding date so you can be the photographer. I couldn't have imaged being anywhere else.

I walked up to the wedding location, their family home.  I saw a little boat and the wheels started spinning in my head.  I somehow needed to incorporate that boat into the wedding photos.  I eased the idea in slowly through the day & had someone clean the boat for me to prepare for all the ideas I had in my head for after the wedding.

This location was a photographers dream.  Rocco & Nancy also allowed plenty of time for pictures, pictures with family & pictures of the two of them.  We were really able to utilize the entire place.  I had them running, skipping, jumping, okay maybe not skipping but they were up for anything.

Rocco & Nancy, thank you for asking me to be your wedding photographer.  It was the best day and I was grateful to be able to be there & capture the day.

Jacob & Darcie Vintage Wedding - Oklahoma Wedding

An intimate location,

filled with family history details,

& one gorgeous couple.

Jacob & Darcie just celebrated their anniversary & I wanted to celebrate it with this blog.
A few of my favorite things - vintage style, vintage locations, couples, couples in love, couples up for taking lots of pictures & personal touches at a wedding. We got all of that at this wedding.

The location was Renaissance 17 in downtown Weatherford, Oklahoma on Route 66.  Tina, who owns & runs this location, has done such a fantastic job making a top notch place to get married. I walked in and it was love at first sight.  I am a big fan of old buildings & this building, well you will see in the photos.  I could have photographed here all day.

The details of Jacob & Darcies wedding were quiet possibly the best I had ever seen.  Vintage frames with grandparents wedding photos, great grandparents, grandparents & parents wedding dresses hanging. There were so many touches of generations past that just made it just feel like they were all apart.  Even the wedding date was special because several generations before had also chosen this wedding date as well.

I am thankful to have been able to be asked to be apart of this wedding.  They both have such great families and it was a pleasure to be there and be apart.  Thanks for being Jared Wanzer Photography Top Models.
