Jacob & Darcie just celebrated their anniversary & I wanted to celebrate it with this blog. 

A few of my favorite things - vintage style, vintage locations, couples, couples in love, couples up for taking lots of pictures & personal touches at a wedding. We got all of that at this wedding.

The location was Renaissance 17 in downtown Weatherford, Oklahoma on Route 66.  Tina, who owns & runs this location, has done such a fantastic job making a top notch place to get married. I walked in and it was love at first sight.  I am a big fan of old buildings & this building, well you will see in the photos.  I could have photographed here all day.  

The details of Jacob & Darcies wedding were quiet possibly the best I had ever seen.  Vintage frames with grandparents wedding photos, great grandparents, grandparents & parents wedding dresses hanging. There were so many touches of generations past that just made it just feel like they were all apart.  Even the wedding date was special because several generations before had also chosen this wedding date as well.  

I am thankful to have been able to be asked to be apart of this wedding.  They both have such great families and it was a pleasure to be there and be apart.  Thanks for being Jared Wanzer Photography Top Models.

I loved everything about Jacob & Darcie & their wedding. We decided to do a day after session & do it in style.   They are both natural in front of the camera. We had the best time making use of every square inch of the Farmers Market. 

I want to give a big thank you to everyone that made the fantastic photo shoot today possible. It is going to be a great project and it was such a good way to start the day!  Thank you to Jacob & Darcie for moving your schedules around to come up to be apart of this photo shoot, it means a lot.  You are fantastic people and I am so glad I have been able to get to know you both!

Several months ago I was asked to do a photo-shoot for the Oklahoma City Marriott.
A lot of great wedding vendors were involved including JJ Kelly & I was very excited to be involved.

As I said before, the dress for the bridal photo-shoot was from JJ Kelly. I am in love with their dresses and if you are searching for a dress I high recommended stopping by! After the shoot, Jane & Patrick, requested a photo to display at their store. I was like a kid in a candy store with excitement to be asked to have my work displayed.

As everyone knows I document everything, that basically is how Jared Wanzer Photography was started , me just documenting my life.

I call all my couples, brides, okay anyone I am photographing my top models. Jared Wanzer Photography Top Models to be exactly. (love how every word is capitalized)

I love being involved with weddings. Literally I love every aspect, every new person I get to meet along the way, which leads me to this shoot. I have become friends with the owners of JJ Kelly & I Do Appointments. Patrick came to me and ask if I would be up for doing this shoot for Ashli at the Marriott on NW Expressway in OKC. Before Christmas I was able to do this fantastic bridal shoot for the Oklahoma City Marriott. There were so many great people involved from the flowers to the jewelry, hair & Makeup.

Like I said before I call whoever I am shooting that day my models, honestly I mean it, I love it when my clients get comfortable in front of the camera then start working the camera & laugh at my corny jokes. This shoot was no different.

I got to the hotel early to scout out the locations I wanted to use and we moved a little bit of furniture & we made a go of it and I think it turned out to be such a great bridal shoot.

Poppy Lane Design did two spectacular bouquets.

Naifeh Fine Jewelry provided the gorgeous jewels.
