25 Must See Jared Wanzer Photography Engagement Images of 2014 - Oklahoma Photographer

Since I love love & I also love that I am able to capture so many people in love -  I thought on Valentines Day, the most popular day of the year to propose, I would share 25 of my favorite images (in no particular order) for 2014.

I am a pictureaholic
I love lists
& I love couple.

Only picking 25 is going to be a hard task but I am going to give it a go.

As of today I have photographed over 100 engagement sessions (which sounds like a blog for another day).  Each shoot has been different & unique - being able to capture that unique love to each couple makes each shoot fun to do.

My favorite part of my job is getting to know my clients, I love hearing how each couple met, where they proposed, how long they have been together.  The more we get to know each other the more comfortable the shoot is & the more we can add to the shoot to make it even more personal.

'Have Camera Will Travel' is my slogan & traveling for an engagement shoot is a-ok with me, I prefer it.  A few from this year that made the engagement shoots unique -  I went to a couples grandparents farm in Duncan, Oklahoma.  High school best friends hometown in Poteu, Oklahoma.   comic-book fans, a Centennial family farm in Western Oklahoma, a travel themed engagement shoot for a destination wedding this year, a romantic shoot that ended in Lake Arcadia & many many more.

2014 Engagements in Review - Oklahoma Photographer

Can you believe it is 2015?!

2014 was a tough year for me, My Grandma passed away at the end of 2013 and 2014 was just a time to go through it.  I learned a lot about myself & I realized I am just going to have to go through this because I don't think you completely ever get over the loss of someone you were close to.  My reason for saying this is because going through the loss of my Grandma I was able to do what I love.   I don't even know if my clients knew how much it meant to do what I love and be around people who were happy and in love.

As I am preparing for the 2015 photography year I thought going down memory lane would be fun. These are 2014s Jared Wanzer photography top model engagement couples.  I had the best time with each of them & thank you for bringing joy to my life through a tough year, you all really do me a lot to me.

My goal with every engagement shoot is to make it real, romantic and about the couple.   I want each shoot to show the love they share for each other & be a day they remember, an experience.   I think we were able to do that in each of these engagement sessions.    If you are engaged or know someone that is engaged, I would love to meet with you and tell you more about why I do what I do & add you to the calendar.

Thank you for being apart of 2014, I enjoyed meeting each of you.  I look forward to our paths crossing again!! Happy New Year!!

Billy & Tiffany Engagement - Oklahoma Portrait Photographer

The Judds have a song called Young Love.  The chorus in this song reminded me of Billy & Tiffany.

"Young love, strong love, true love
It's a new love
Their gonna make it through the hard times
Walk those lines
Yeah these ties that bind
Young love
We'll she just couldn't stop herself from thinking about him
And at a store downtown she saw him again
She had both hands full
He held open the door
Said my name is Billy
I've seen you before
Can I help you with these
Can I give you a ride
Can I take you out on a Saturday night
She didn't have to say what she was feeling inside
He could see the answer shining in her eyes."

Billy & Tiffany grew up in Poteau, OK.  They were best friends going through school and moved away, lived some life & have now reconnected and will soon be walking down the aisle.  They both grew up in the area and we went back through memory lane through at their local hang out places & captured it all on camera.  It was so much fun to be able to go back to the places that meant something to do them & brought back so many memories.

Young love, turning into true love - it just doesn't get any better than that!

Brad & Emma Engagement - Oklahoma Photographer

It was the foggiest day of the year,

an early morning,

with an old barn & farm.

As I drove to the engagement location I thought, 'I hope this fog stick around for a few of the engagement photos today because it would make for a romantic photo.'

Well the fog stuck around for the entire shoot & it added such a romantic mood to the Oklahoma Engagement session!

Brad said to me, "I like you, I just don't like what you do."

He was a trooper & I thought they both did a great job.

Ryan & Ashley Engagement - Oklahoma Photographer

Ryan, What do you appreciate most about Ashley?  "She doesn't judge and she's sincere.

Ashley, What do you appreciate most about Ryan? "He is honest & has a big heart."

I love Ashley and Ryan, they were just what they said about each other - sincere, honest & big hearts.

We brought out their love for eachother, their personality & a little comic book love.
