I loved everything about Jacob & Darcie & their wedding. We decided to do a day after session & do it in style.   They are both natural in front of the camera. We had the best time making use of every square inch of the Farmers Market. 

I want to give a big thank you to everyone that made the fantastic photo shoot today possible. It is going to be a great project and it was such a good way to start the day!  Thank you to Jacob & Darcie for moving your schedules around to come up to be apart of this photo shoot, it means a lot.  You are fantastic people and I am so glad I have been able to get to know you both!

Myriad Gardens

relaxing day after

& a perfect morning for a photo shoot!

A few days ago I posted about Chris & Mollys Wedding. We actually did Chris & Mollys Day After session 2 days after but all the same this Day After session started early morning and we headed downtown Oklahoma City to the recently remodeled Myriad Gardens.

I am not going to lie when I heard they were redoing Myriad Gardens I was disappointed because I thought it was perfect to begin with. This is the first time I had photographed a shoot since it has been completely finished and I have to say, I loved it. Great job Oklahoma City.

We were able to get some great light and I loved the areas we found in Myriad Gardens, Chris & Molly were up for anything they were relaxed and ol Jared Wanzer Photography pros my this point. In one of the last pictures I did of the day I put them on a bench in the gardens and they were so relaxed I think they were ready to take a nap.

Early morning shoots are the way to go!

I love Day after sessions and I am so glad we were able to do one, thanks Chris & Molly for waking up early to get that perfect light and cool breeze!

Drew & Kassie, well I love them. We have had so many great shoots together.

I am so glad I was able to meet them and able to do all these great shoots together!

We waited a few weeks to do their Day After session. It turned out to be the perfect evening! Lake Hefner was a great choice! A small breeze, perfect lighting & the light hit the water just perfect! God for sure blessed us with an amazing sunset as well!

BEN & KATIE DAY AFTER – OKLAHOMA WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

I think this is Ben & Katie week on my blog but we were able to do so many great photo-shoots that I definitely want to share!

Right after Ben & Katie’s Wedding I went to the Waterford Hotel, which is just a few miles from Coles Garden actually, this was also where they were staying after their wedding. I stopped by to do a few night shots to finish the day, which always makes for some great light & shadows!

The next morning we started early at their hotel again to finish off our last wedding photo shoot. We started at 8AM which made for a really early morning for all of us. You would never know it was a late night and early morning because they were ready to go! I love me a Day After shoot! I always say its the ‘let your hair down’ photo shoot. Everything is over, no pressure & just a relaxing shoot.
