BRIAN & BRITTANY ENGAGEMENT - TRAVELING PHOTOGRAPHER

Last weekend I made my way up to Wichita, KS. The weekend started off with this lovely couple Brian & Brittany.
I met Brittany in 2005, we both started waiting tables about the same time at Garfield's in Crossroads Mall in Oklahoma City. I was actually attending Photography school in Moore at the time. We always enjoyed working together and she was always very uplifting when it came to me pursuing photography as my career.
We haven’t seen each other since but because of the best invention in the world, Facebook, we have kept in touch every so often through the years. I was so excited when she contacted me that she was getting married and wanted me to photograph their wedding in September.
My day started out checking out Old Town, in Wichita. I went down early to drive around and scout out locations for us to explore. In the middle of exploring it started pouring down rain.
This normally wouldn't be a big deal because we could either reschedule or wait it out, but Brian & Brittany drove down from Nebraska. I was trying to figure out a plan, off to Wal Mart I went. I decided we would start out in their hotel and re-enact a pillow fight.
My list of supplies for Wal Mart was:
feather pillow
umbrella
batteries
& of course a Pepsi.

The result of the amazing pillow flight we created. The hotel cleaning lady wasn't to happy and I am pretty sure they wondered what happend when they came into the room.

We also made our way to Starbucks for more creative shots to stay out of the random burst of rain downpour.

It was such a great day, rain or no rain we had a great time! I am so thankful you guys asked me to be apart of the journey toward your wedding! Many more to come soon!

Jared Wanzer Photography in Review

Work has been pretty busy this week, I was hoping it would pick up the closer it got to the Holiday time and it has. Looking forward to even more in the next few months. Here are a few of the photo-shoots I have just finished and put online. You can check out more on my website http://www.jaredwanzerphotography.com Tell your friends :)

Bellow, this is Danny & Kristy's Wedding. This was I believe the 4th wedding I have done at Creekside Wedding Chapel. I love this location because it is fairly close to where I live. I love traveling but sometimes it is nice to have one close to home. They have just redone a lot of the chapel and it looks great, I am hoping to get a lot more there because they have a lot to work with. Danny & Kristy have turned into two of my favorite people. I made the roll in the ground on their engagement pictures (I will have to show that one later). Basically I love people that do whatever I say haha and they worked it for sure. Here are a few samples.

My 50th wedding. I photographed my first wedding in 2004. On 10/03/09 I photographed my 50th wedding! Time goes by really fast. This was a great wedding to be my 50th because it had an amazing stained glass cross in the front of the church that I loved and had some amazing lighting come through. Here are a few samples...whoohoo for 50 more!

Dan & Trista, I drove to Wichita where they live to photograph their engagement pictures. I actually have known Trista for quiet a while because she used to date one of my friends, who is now married to so we will just let everyone wonder who it was. She of course remember my awesome photography ability and contacted me on facebook. haha It actually misted or drizzled on us almost the whole time we were taking pictures but we actually were able to get some amazing shots.
