Amy, my cousin, asked me if I could take pictures of her with her friends, Savannah & Sienna. They have all gone to the school together. Savannah is moving away before the next school year starts & they wanted to have these photos before she left.

We started in my families gorgeous backyard, it is a photographers dream for sure! If I could shoot in their backyard all the time I would absolutely love it! After the first round we headed to the Rose Garden in Portland, OR. This location was also a fantastic spot to shoot and I am so glad I was able to use these locations for photo shoots while I was in town! Traveling is possibly my favorite thing to do, next to photography, with both of them combined I am one happy guy!

Jared Wanzer Photography takes Portland

The weather was not higher than 75 degrees the entire time

the locations were next to perfect

it was the 4th of July

I had the great pleasure of going to Portland, OR at the beginning of July. My family had been inviting me out for quiet a while now & this I packed my bags, bought a plane ticket & headed that way. My cousin Amy & Aunt Joan lined up a few photo-shoots for me while I was there.

My cousin Amy has been friends with Emily since they can remember! When I asked how long they had been friends Emily said, ‘we had an arranged friendship.’ LOVE IT.

We did all these photos in Emily gorgeous back yard in Portland. She was a Jared Wanzer Photography top model and worked it. I loved that I had the chance to finally meet her and do a photo shoot together!

I love my job, someday I will be a traveling photographer all the time and be able to do many more shoots all over the fantastic United States.
