Over the last several years I have been scanning my great-grandparents, grandparents & parents photos. These photos are extremely important to me and I am thankful to have them all backed up digitally. I am also thankful to have images of my family where I can print at a good quality!
During the past several years I have had people tell me that I should start doing this for other people. I have pretty much just brushed it off because I had a lot of my families photos to scan & I just didn't really think much of it.
A few months ago I had my first client with scanning photos & that being said I have decided to offer this service to others as well. If you, or anyone else in your family would like to have their pictures scanned & saved digitally, I would love to do that for you. I will be charging $50 per shoe box. It usually takes roughly an hour to two hours to scan a shoe box of photos. A photo album does take longer because I do try to put them back in order as much as possible. If you have an older album with the sticky glue in it, I do request you take the images out of the album before because some of the images do tend to stick and I wouldn't want any of them to rip.
