I opened my devotion tonight, sadly it was because I couldn't sleep but I am glad I couldn't because it was exactly what I was needing to read..
It is from the devotion by Joel Osteen, Become A Better You. I would type out the full devotion because it was all very good words but I will just type a few things. I highly recommend his devotions, straight and to the point.
It starts off with,
Hebrews 13:5 GOD HAS SAID, ''I WILL NEVER FAIL YOU. I WILL NEVER ABANDON YOU.''
Then goes into the reading..
You don't have to figure everything out. You may not know what your future holds. But as long as you know who holds your future, you're going to be okay. God has been working behind the scenes in your life over the years.
...He is already lining up answers for problems that you may not even encounter for ten or twenty years should give you incredible confidence as you enjoy your life today.
SHOULD GET YOU INCREDIBLE CONFIDENCE AS YOU ENJOY YOUR LIFE TODAY, wow.
...Reject anything that hints at frustration or impatience. Remember, when you believe, you activate His power.
REMEMBER, WHEN YOU BELIEVE, YOU ACTIVATE HIS POWER, that blows my mind too!! love it!
